Google removed Google Videos going back in 2009 and until these days back in early 2011, the really shut down Google Videos meaning any video that was listed on Google Videos don’t actually exist anymore and they’re encouraging people to transfer to Youtube. Now, you can use Youtube which I actually do too and I highly recommend it because it’s a great service there but also too just with a lot of things that happen all over the internet, you might like to also spread your associated risk just in case. So that’s why I’m revealing with you about Google Plus to upload videos there as well and this is just another option so that you can keep your videos online and have the ability to utilize their services to maintain your videos stored safely and securely.

Another thing I want to refer to as well is that Google Plus takes you to have a Google Plus account in order to be able to access it and it’s readily available for anyone right now and you could actually get entry in just by simply signing in. So as a way to access Google Plus, go to Google Plus then simply sign on with your details and you’ll be capable to get entry in straightaway. All right, so now I’ve signed in and you might be wondering okay, where can you upload videos? So let’s go firstly how to upload videos onto Google Plus.

The way to upload is click in your Profile which is right here on the left hand. And next you’ll arrive at the screen where it reveals all your feeds right here. There’s little tab here that says Videos. Just click on that. And next to upload new videos, simply just click Upload New Videos. Now, to upload videos, you simply just select the videos from your computer by clicking here. That’s the primary option. Or alternatively, you can also open up and move and drop which I can present you at this time.

So I’ll go to say for example where all my videos are and I can actually move and drop video in there. So I’ve actually got test video here as you can probably see and I can actually just drag and drop that in there. And as you can see it’s uploading it at this time immediately. Give it a title name or just an album name. So we’ll call it say Video Test and once it’s done as you can see depending on how long and how big the file is, it will take a while but once it’s done, just go straight down to the bottom and just click on Create Album.

And then you can simply give a comment to share what this video is all about and tell your friends. So I’ll just put “This is a test video.” All right, and there are unique ways to be able to share this. Either leave this as public which means that everyone will be able to see it in your profile and see in your feed or you may add more people. If you have more and more people to share with your friends, family, following and so forth. And that’s the great thing about Google Plus is that it actually allows you to be able to share with a circle group of friends or family whoever you want to do it for yourself.

I just want to fiddle with this camera because the fact is, is that I’ve been wanting numerous new things in the past several months and I finally observed something I really like and has been performing effectively. Now, in this video, I’m going to share with you very, very shortly a little tip that I’ve been playing around with. And the thing is, is that a lot of people have been asking me how do I get this little blurry blurry background in plenty of my videos and get the focal point on just me.

Going back a several months ago, I was kind of organizing about replacing to a new camera and I’ve used the Kodak Zi8 for quite a while and you’ve seen a lot of my videos where everything’s in HD and the quality is fairly good. It’s exactly that you don’t have that nice blurry background outcome and also focus on the camera. And also too, I wanted a great deal of extra devices such as lighting and also ensuring that I have the right sides from time to time to ensure that the camera records it appropriately.

Whereas this particular camera that I’m currently using now, which is the Canon T3i, I don’t really need to do such things. I don’t need much lighting on my face at this point in time. It is all totally applied by natural light and the adjustment of the camera. That’s the strong thing about obtaining an SLR camera just like the Canon T3i.

So the whole idea is if you have a Canon SLR camera or any kind of camera, what you need to do is get a lens with a smaller F stop. What that means is actually the whole size of your lens and the smaller the whole size, the more it focuses primarily on your point that is my face and let anything else blur in the background. And that’s to do with what we call the term aperture. The lower the F stop, the higher it is and the price.

It jumps up considerably in price from 1.8 down to 1.4. And the price variation is roughly about $100 for this lens and approximately $300 for that other lens. You might see just a minor little quality distinction. I have seen the minor little quality distinction but I wasn’t thinking about paying that extra because I don’t think my viewers like yourself would probably even detect. So really that’s how you do it. Just get a separate different lens. Don’t forget to have an SLR camera and a fixed lens makes a distinction because then you don’t have to worry about improving the zoom and all that stuff and an F1.8 is more than adequate enough to obtain that nice blur.

I’m just about to show you a little bit of helpful things that you absolutely need to boost the quality of the videos. You see my little friend here, it’s similar to this really standing lamp, as you will find it’s about my height and it’s excellent specifically for what I would like to do. The real key element so as to make certain that they’re high quality and also looks good, sounds good and simple things like that can make a huge difference to make your videos appear quite professional. So what you will see here is merely a lamp that I purchased from my Ikea and it’s like $30-40 or so. It is possible to go and spend some money to get a professional lamp and I’m likely to talk around the two different choices.

The very first solution, the budget option which is what I’m already applying. You can get it on eBay, it is possible to pick it up on Amazon too. In this video, I just want to reveal to you what I’ve done and ways to go about it. This current one which I’m carrying here right this moment is 55watts that basically portrays it out. But if you actually put and look at the equivalent of it, I think it goes up to approximately 300watts of lighting strength.

Which is more than enough as a way to light your face up, light everything around that you can see and you don’t have to stress about where to actually get lighting from if you don’t have much of light. What I would advise with regards to getting a video created with good lighting is just get one of these lights, $30-40, they’re bendable which is great. It won’t cost you very much for it, you may get pretty much 3 of these lights for I don’t know, hundred something of dollars. And even if with one, it’ll more likely be enough to tell the truth.

Now once I’ve set that up, I transfer it off to my video editor and add all these little special effects but as long as this quality of this video is at an excellent stage, it makes his life a lot easier. And that’s what I recommend is just ensure that you do get the right lighting for that.

As I pointed out there is also one other option that you may get too that is the more professional which are big box lights. And it contains like 6 or 7 light bulbs inside between. Anyway, let me know what your opinions are. I love to know how efficient this is for you. After all personally it’s been great but obviously you’ll need to try it out yourself.

Anyway, let me know what your opinions are. I love to know how efficient this is for you. After all personally it’s been great but obviously you’ll need to try it out yourself.

So first thing I want to reveal to you is exactly the lapel mic that I implement to be able to clip onto me. So in case you can see this little thing that’s right here, there’s a little mic that’s attached onto my shirt and this mic is connected directly straight into the video camera using the video cameras that I strongly recommended before. This is the mic that I’m currently using and it’s just basically a wired mic. It includes a switch and also this is what we call a condenser mic and the switch just works it off and on. And then what it has is an extension which just attaches on like a tiny mic that you just clip onto to your shirt like this.

Something similar to this, I’ve purchased from Tandy and also Dick Smith, Dick Smith here in Australia for approximately about 30bucks so it’s a very good high quality mic. It includes a battery which keeps the mic running and also too it creates that nice high quality audio. If I actually take away the mic right now which I’ll do in a sec, so I’ve taken the mic right this moment, and you can see that it sounds very echoey, it’s a really bucket type of noise. That’s the key reason why I needed to share that with you to explain to you what it seems like.

Second thing is as I said, you can also get hold of what we call a condenser mic which I currently utilize to capture all my screen capture videos. The mic that I presently implement is called the Rode Podcaster. Rode Podcaster is very good. It’s created in Australia and it’s of high quality as the audio quality is completely amazing and I’d suggest if you’re going to spend some bucks on purchasing a good quality of mic, that’s what I would get hold of for the computer when you’re doing screen recordings, whatever you’re doing on screen and also for podcasts.

If you can’t afford similar to that which is quite pricey I know that, see the Snowball Mic and this is a relatively priced mic that’s about half less the cost. High quality wise, it’s not too bad but it doesn’t have all the additional functions that you’d be checking out for the mic like that. And it just sits there on the desktop so in case you need to lean down and talk into it you’ve got to talk relatively close to it to pick up the top quality sound.

Be sure to pick up the suitable mic to guarantee the high quality of audio in your videos is high since it really makes that extra difference to make your video stand out.

So the first one that I suggest to check out is the Windows Live Movie Maker for PC. I believe that’s the newest edition. As of showing this video, it’s like the 2011 version which is Windows Like Movie Maker, and that’s usually incorporated in your Windows 7 or Windows computer system and that’s essentially free to be able to use. It works completely well and if you’re on a budget, that does sufficient for you to assist you to modify your programs. Second one is iMovie that gets included into Mac with the software that’s iWorks. And you could check that out as well. Now if you’re looking to get something a little bit specialized and you’re willing to spend a little bit more, these are the pieces of software program that our team or my video editing team makes use of for you to do all our video which include screen captures as well as any of the special effects that we have.

So what I’m going to recommend to you at this point are just a couple of pieces of software both for PC and Mac that we use for screen capture. So doing a presentation like this, I’m using a screen capture application plus showing anything that’s drawn on the screen as well. You can use a application called Camtasia Studio which is available for PC.

Otherwise if you’re a Mac user like I am, I presently also use Screenflow for Mac. And you could also gain access to this piece of software program and download it as well for trial and buying. Both are totally great software program for you to use and they do cost a modest amount of money to purchase but they are highly specialized application that I’ve been using with my team and to do these presentations that you can see right.

Okay and then finally if you’ve seen a lot of my videos, a lot of the videos that we do, we edit them and add computer graphics to it. And the way we do that is with a software called Adobe Premiere Pro and this accessible for both PC and for Mac.

Now, this piece of application allows you to edit the videos and in addition too allows you to add special effects to it. If you’re just starting out and you don’t want to actually spend too much money, you can actually get Adobe After Effects as well which does the trick and edit all in Screenflow and Camtasia, whichever one you’ve got. So Adobe After Effects is accessible for both PC and Mac but if you don’t want to get the other software which I just recommended which is Camtasia and Screenflow, you can have everything all incorporated inside Adobe Premiere Pro and does all that. And basically my video editor makes use of this for you to do it as well.

Basically from the videos I’ve created, everything has been outsourced to them. I don’t have any experience in undertaking all these type of modifying. All I’m excellent at performing is making the material for this. And I’m likely to talk from my experience on what I try to get or consider when I chosen a video editor. The first thing I was really excited to work with in the business was employing a person with “can do” attitude. As you see this little boy at the right corner here, he’s really thrilled, he’s really a “can do” form of person and I did look out for that level. Somebody who I’m able to speak with, somebody who I was able to do the things that I share with them and say look, this is exactly what I’ve got here, return to me and have it completed with a resourceful option as well, too.

Another thing is when I was searching for a video editor is I was looking for his creative ability, watching how he shows up alongside his type of style in his video enhancing methods. I wanted to be able to see that from the videos and what I did was I just gave him one task, one simple task and it was just unedited raw videos which I sent across to him and when he went back to me, he came back with a final product or draft on how I wanted it. And pretty much just from taking a look at his portfolio, it basically said yes to me this is the person who I want to work with. And that’s what I searched for in a video editor. So guarantee that when you’re hiring someone, when you’re talking through them, test them, try out what they’re carrying out. See what their portfolio describes and then from there you can make conclusion whether or not they’ve got that innovative ability.

And then in the end, this is also encouraging very well with resourceful ability as the appropriate skill set. It’s obvious if they’ve got that resourceful ability who can create that design and style or that feature, or add that special effects to that video then naturally from there they’ve got to have that right skill set because in order to be able to take that ability to import and edit inside videos and to use the ideal software to do that, that shows up as a skill. And it can take too much time to understand if you are to choose that up yourself and that’s the reason why outsourcing it to a video editor, somebody who’s got the practical experience can perform that for you.

Now, what I want to share with you are my top hints for hiring a video editor and these ideas you can take away and just keep these in mind when you’re attempting to find them. So first thing I want to share with you is “hire slow, fire fast” and this is a quote from Tom Gegax which is also part of the Nightingale Conant’s collection and basically the thing is it requires a bit of time to find that appropriate person. Don’t jump directly into it and hire the first person. Naturally trial run it out, be sure you proceed through a process and interview a lot of people before you decide to do hire them. That perfect one will come when you do see the ideal thing. So take your time with hiring.

Now, it can be expensive if you do hire too rapidly since the wrong person can come along and waste a lot of your time. So just take that up to speed and that’s the tip that I highly recommend is to hire slow, fire fast. The other thing is to test the professional knowledge. The great thing to do from my practical experience is I usually let them have a 2 to 3-week trial run period and you can go up to a month review if you wish to desire but in that time period once you begin working with them and giving them work in their probational period, you can find out no matter whether they made the skill set that you’re looking for. And if they do just from the outset of showing their portfolio and to do a test that you’ve just provided for them, you can see straightaway from there no matter whether they’ll work with you long term. Lastly, meet with them and request references.

I know a lot of people are anxious with that and personally when I first setup, I was the equivalent. I was worried about how my hair would look, I was concerned with how my shirt would suit, I was worried about how I communicate, all of that sort of stuff. And it was nerve-racking. But before too long, after repeating all over, after carrying this out many times, I felt much more at ease. And it’s just like public presenting or getting onstage and speaking to people in a large crowd.

Even now actually I still get anxious speaking facing an audience of hundreds of people so it demonstrates that it’s not something that just comes naturally. But what I thought to give out inside this video today is to provide some tips regarding how to have the ability to create videos and be at ease in front of the camera and it’s significantly rehearsing thing. It’s not something which will just come easily to you but once you get the hang of it, it is very easy and that’s how I’m eager to generate plenty of videos very quickly because I can just hop facing the camera and just share with you my knowledge and tips on how to do it.

If you’re not at ease with doing the camera first, that’s fine. Script it out. Record some notes. Although the most important thing is just jot down an outline or guide so that way you don’t get mentally empty. It is possible to stand looking at the camera and speak by using your guides. And it’s okay if you’ve got to seem at the script here, it’s good to scan it off sometimes but make sure that you have your eye contact with the camera. Second tip I wish to give out is imagine that there’s a person facing you like a buddy who you are talking to. And it’ll be like gazing or conversing with somebody as though you’re introducing them to the very first time about a particular matter.

The next tip I wish to offer is turn it into interview style and it’s actually not that difficult to do. So once again, it’s much like number two except that you don’t have to appear looking at the camera, you can actually turn to the side which is what I’m going to do right now and pretend that there’s someone facing you. And have a list of questions or you’re pre-prepped.

So as it is possible to see that wasn’t that difficult. You can stand facing the camera, facing at a different angle and get an interview type of style. So that is my third tip there and really there’s not much more that I can provide in terms of how to overcome the fear of that but I think the main thing is practice. And overtime, after you become comfortable to get looking at the camera and talk and talk about concepts like this it is much, much easier I can guarantee you do that because actually, I’ve done it. This is the way I speak everyday, I speak to my wife like this as well so before too long it is very easy to have the ability to communicate with you and I hope that’s how you feel when you see these videos with me.

Let’s firstly start with the Virtual Staff Finder and let me reveal to you a quick introduction to the way it operates so this way you can see the method. Firstly if you just go there, there’s a five-step method in the Virtual Staff Finder. It’s pretty easy to use and I personally have used it lots times and people who’ve joined up to Mass Outsource Mastermind full program, the Platinum program that I offer, I just send a precaution of their fees over to the Virtual Staff Finder to enable them to find the VA or the piecebook that they will need. And the wonderful thing about doing that is that it’s very reputable and it’s very quick and it can save them a lot of time. So as I’ve talked about, it’s a five-step program. All you’ve got to try and do is if you want to sign up and get access to this, register here and just simply pay up $350 expense. And that’s the cost that you have to just pay in advance and it’s a one-off fee to help you select the candidate.

Then after that, what will happen is that Chris Ducker will start to send some videos onto you on specifics of virtual staff and tips on how to take care of them and so on. And what they’ll do is in that same period of time, while you’re reviewing the videos, you’ve got a period of time where they’ll get out there and start finding all the candidates for you. And even more than likely because Chris has a large team here over 200 staff, they’ve probably got applicants already lined up and it’s only a matter of matching them to you like a complementing dating solution kind of thing. And when you’ve paid as well, they’ll provide a simple email and they’ll get you to send in the job description and then reply back exactly what things you require in the virtual staff before you could go and look for them.

Now, just to let you know, to be realistic, not every time will these applicants work best with your business. And, in my opinion I have had to undergo this sort of twice so as to choose the right programmer for the role and unluckily after the first time, it didn’t work out so had to turn back to Stephane and do it again. Now my friend Gideon Shalwick, I just referred him to this provider and he says luckily someone recommend it. And that was me that recommend it and he also had a very similar experience as well the first time around, apparently it’s something to do with the timezone but that they categorized that out very well. Now I’ve heard Pat Flynn and also Corbett Barr who all had great feedback.

One other thing I just want to mention as well the pro with this service in comparison to say like Bestjobs.ph is one, it’s quite trusty I mean like 95% you’ll probably get someone that’s pretty good, it spares you considerable time. And that’s the key thing is as an entrepreneur or as a business owner, you don’t have plenty of time to go out and find. Essentially you got to find out if the time’s worthwhile to pay for then spending yourself just to say that few hundred dollars. One other beauty of Virtual Staff Finder is that it’s based in the Philippines and this whole service has been designed and dedicated by Chris’ team over in the Philippines mainly in the head office. So you pretty much can’t go wrong.

Now I just want to give you quick evaluation to Bestjobs.ph. Bestjobs.ph is something which you can register annually. And annually, you can pay a fee of roughly about the same. It’s about $350-400 for a whole year. And the great thing I guess in evaluation to Virtual Staff Finder is that you really have entry to this solution for the entire year. Overall, I really wanted to let you know the ins and outs of it because I have been through this experience myself and also I’ve had lots of my students through the Mass Outsource Mastermind course to endure this solution as well and a lot of them have come back and said it’s been great so I can’t put anything down for this as you know the truth is that it’s a great provider.

A very basic question that many of us are always asking is “What camera shall I use?” Because once you’ve captured your content like what I’m doing today, you’re going to have to send it over to your video editor. And there’s really two methods. One, is to use a very standard camera for people who are on a low cost which I’m going to share with you briefly. Or two, have a little bit more advanced camera which is the current one that I’m using right now to record on. And both is really dependent on your financial allowance and also depending on the quality of the video that you wish to take out there.

The first one that I’ve been using for a long time before I really replaced to this camera that I’m now creating on is a Kodak Zi8 camera. This is a good, very small and very light-weight camera that I’ve used and I had a 32GB card in here as a way to capture all my high definition videos. Now the reason why this is an excellent camera is one, it has an external microphone which you can just connect onto the side right over here. Then if you have looked at a lot of my videos, I had no less than about almost 100 videos that I recorded using the Kodak Zi8 camera. And it’s a fantastic camera because it records in high definition and the video sizes are quite compact in consideration.

Now the second option which is a bit more professional and also too, it records very high quality and you can see just from the recording is known as the Canon T3i Rebel. And I’m not likely to take the credit that I discovered this. It was actually suggested to me by my good friend Gideon Shalwick. And merely again, it does have an external mic so the good thing is I can connect this mic that I’ve got on clipped on me straight into the camera and begin to share with you.

Now, one word of caution, these cameras, these particular Canon cameras document very large files and there’s little trick that I’m going to share in the next video on how to be able to get this delivered over to your video editor in a more compact format and I think apparently at the moment it records up to about 300MB for each minute so if you’re going to do a 10-minute video, it’s planning to be about 3GB which is quite massive. Although in distinction, the Kodak Zi8, for around a 5-minute video that I used to capture, it will only be about 200-300MB so it’s a fraction of that size so you only have to take that in consideration when you’re outsourcing it to your video editor offshore.

Be sure that whenever you’re buying a camera, you’ll also get a lapel mic which is what I’m presently holding today, you can sort of find it on me. But simply it’s just a mic that just clips onto you and plug it straight to your camera and it provides you with a lot better quality of sound.
